The Ministry of Defense of Slovakia records Russia’s attempts to influence the country’s Armed Forces with the help of special services.
This was stated by the head of the Slovak department, Jaroslav Nagy, following the results of the NATO summit.
According to the minister, the recent expulsion of employees of the Russian Embassy in Bratislava, who turned out to be intelligence officers under diplomatic cover, indicates that “the period when they did what they wanted is over.
“The head of the Ministry of Defense also said that his ministry is intensively monitoring the development of events in Ukraine and the deployment of tens of thousands of Russian soldiers near the borders of the neighboring state.
“These are the things that worry us. We hope that responsibility and common sense will prevail, ”Nagy stressed.
