Not far from Luhanske, illegal armed formations of pro-Kremlin militants fired grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. In Vodyane, they used stationary anti-tank grenade launchers and automatic mounted grenade launchers.
As a result of the enemy shelling, one serviceman of the Joint Forces received a bullet wound. The defender was promptly given first aid and evacuated to a medical facility. The condition of the wounded is of medium severity.
Ukrainian defenders fired back in response to the enemy shelling.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin is concerned about talks on a possible plan for Ukraine to join NATO and says Ukraine’s membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization will be a “red line”.
