The Joseph Biden administration is preparing to impose additional sanctions on Russia. They are connected with the poisoning of the Russian oppositionist Alexei Navalny, said Joe Biden’s National Security Assistant Jake Sullivan on CNN.
As noted CNN, the US president said last week that during the meeting he warned Putin about the consequences of Navalny’s death in prison.
“I made it clear to him that I believe that the consequences of this would be devastating for Russia,” said Joe Biden during a meeting with reporters.
