President Volodymyr Zelensky assured that Ukraine is fighting for the people who are currently in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and believes that they will definitely return.

He stated this in a speech at the celebrations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We are fighting for our people there, because it is possible to temporarily occupy the territory, but it is impossible to occupy people’s love for Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine is convinced that some people in eastern Ukraine and the Crimea are afraid to say this, but, according to him, this does not mean that they are afraid to think about it.
