In the framework of the visit of the President of Ukraine to the United States in September 2021, a joint statement of the two presidents on the strategic partnership, containing a separate security block, between countries was adopted and published.
As a follow-up to the reached agreements, a new Strategic Partnership Charter was signed on November 10 in Washington during the visit of the Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has also participated in the event.
As part of the implementation of the agreements reached between the political leadership of the countries. During remote negotiations Ukroboronprom’s General Director discussed prospects for cooperation with Ukraine project leader Martin Neill. The agreement provides for strategic analysis of Ukraine’s defense industry on reorganization and corporatization of the State Concern, assistance in implementing innovative programs, counseling for best practices of corporate governance.
