The Ukrainian military used electronic warfare to ground a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the Joint Forces Operation area. It crossed the line of demarcation in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the press center of the JFO headquarters on November 16.

After landing, the Ukrainian military identified the captured drone. It turned out to be a UAV belonging to the Russian Orlan-10 multi-purpose unmanned aerial system. It is designed for reconnaissance and correction of artillery fire.

The enemy drone did not sustain any external damage upon landing.

This is the second drone of this type to be terminated by the Ukrainian military in the last few months.

Orlan-10 is manufactured by the Russian “special technology center” in St. Petersburg. This complex is only in service with the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

The downed drone is another proof and documentary evidence of the presence of Russian troops, weapons and equipment on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
