Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that the situation with migrants on the Belarusian-Polish border is the biggest attempt by Lukashenko and Putin to destabilize the situation in the EU. He called on Europe to strengthen the general response to the blackmail of the migration policy of Belarus and the energy and gas blackmail of the Russian Federation.
“The hybrid war of Lukashenko and Putin against the EU continues. This is the biggest attempt to destabilize society in 30 years. Poland will not succumb to blackmail and will do everything possible to protect the EU borders. But Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia need support. We must defend Europe together,” Morawiecki said.
According to him, the EU should focus on such priorities as: security in the east, the energy and gas crisis and the risks associated with Nord Stream 2.
