December 6 at 18:00 at the same time in Kharkiv on Freedom Square, in Odesa near the Sea Station, in Kramatorsk on Peace Square, in the village of Ozerne, Zhytomyr region, in Lviv near the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sagaidachny and in Kyiv on Mykhailivska Square celebrations will take place on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the participation of the Head of State, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As part of the celebration, a teleconference “Kharkiv-Kyiv-Kramatorsk-Lviv-Odessa-Ozerne” will be held between these cities.

Demonstrations of the latest weapons and military equipment will be held, ceremonies for presenting battle flags and honorary titles to military units, and awarding state awards to servicemen will take place. Military bands and other recreational activities are scheduled.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kharkiv will take part in the celebrations dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the creation of the armed forces, which will be held on Freedom Square. Together with the President, congratulations will be conveyed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Valeriy Zaluzhny.

On the main square of Kharkiv, a military march and the transfer of equipment to combat brigades will take place – 3 T-64BV tanks, 10 armored personnel carriers BTR-4E and 10 armored vehicles “Kozak-2M1”.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Olexiy Reznikov will take over the television baton in Odesa. With his participation, a ceremony will take place for the inclusion of 2 Island-class patrol boats in the Ukrainian Navy, as well as the transfer of other equipment.

Commander of the United Forces Lieutenant General Olexander Pavlyuk will join the teleconference in Kramatorsk. 34 “Kozak-2M1”  vehicles will be solemnly handed over to the military in Kramatorsk.

In the Zhytomyr region, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive a Mi-8 helicopter and one L-39, Su-27 and AN-26 each.

In Lviv, Kyiv and Odesa, representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive at their disposal 40 HMMWV vehicles.
