President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of France Emmanuel Macron discussed the unlocking negotiations within the Normandy format and the Trilateral Contract Group.

“Talked to Emmanuel Macron about unlocking the Normandy format and the TCG work. Agreed on joint next steps,” Zelensky posted on Twitter.

The President also noted that he discussed threats to Ukraine’s energy security and diversification of energy sources with the French leader.

“Grateful to the President of France for a positive assessment of the ongoing reforms,” the Head of State added.

Earlier, Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak announced a possible meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and France and German chancellor in Brussels next week.
