The Group of Seven (G7) ambassadorial group to Ukraine will be chaired by the German embassy in Ukraine in 2022. Previously, the British embassy in Ukraine chaired it. The G7 ambassadors to Ukraine Twitter page said.
“Today is the last day of the British embassy in Ukraine chairing the G7 ambassadorial group in Ukraine. It has been an honor and a privilege to lead this group in support of Ukraine’s ambitious reform plan. Tomorrow we pass the baton to Ambassador Anke Feldhusen and the German Embassy team in Ukraine,” the statement said.
As a reminder, the Group of Seven (G7) is preparing a statement in which it will address Russia over the situation around Ukraine. Its new invasion of Ukraine will have serious consequences and will have to pay a high price.
