Ukrainian defenders have already killed about 26,350 Russian troops since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

Between February 24 and May 11, the enemy also lost 1,187 tanks, 2,856 armored fighting vehicles, 528 artillery systems, 185 multiple launch rocket systems, 87 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 199 aircraft, 160 helicopters, 1,997 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, 12 ships/boats, 390 unmanned aerial vehicles, 41 units of special units and 94 cruise missiles.

According to the statement, the enemy suffered losses in the past day outside the settlements of Novopavlivka, Kurakhove and Sievierodonetsk.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are destroying infrastructure and residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
