Regarding the refutation of the Russian Federation’s accusations against the Ukrainian Armed Forces regarding the shelling of the nitric acid tank at the Azot plant (Severodonetsk)
At the moment of the strike (probably at 14:00) on 31.05.2022 the territory of the enterprise was under the control of the AFU, which indicates that it was impossible for the Ukrainian units to strike their positions. On May 31, 2022, the enemy carried out an assault in the western part of Severodonetsk with the support of artillery (probably by units of the 150th Army Brigade and 2nd and 7th Army Brigades of the 2nd AC of the RF Armed Forces).
Besides, the provocation prepared in advance by the Russian party is evidenced by the official submission of the Russian Federation (May 08 this year) to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons regarding the intentions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out a chemical attack by blowing up chemical containers in Severodonetsk.
