Chair of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk has delivered a speech at the European Parliament plenary session.
Stefanchuk called on the European Parliament to provide weapons to Ukraine, further implement the toughest sanctions against Russia, and recognize Ukraine’s European prospects.
Earlier, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and Chair of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk held a joint press conference.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile and air strikes on residential areas in Ukrainian cities and villages, torturing and murdering civilians.
