The death toll from a Russian missile strike on the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the Odesa region has grown to 18, 30 people have been injured.

Deputy Head of the President’s Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, informed this on Telegram, Vigilant reports.

“Odesa region. As of 08:30: 18 people have died, including two children. 30 have been injured,” he wrote.

Earlier, the operational command “South” reported on Telegram that Russian troops shelled the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district with Kh-22-22 cruise missiles.

“As a result of a missile attack by Tu-22 strategic aviation from the direction of the Black Sea on the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the Odesa region over the night, three Kh-22 missiles struck a multi-storey apartment building and two recreation centers,” the report says.

As of 05:30 on July 1, the bodies of 17 people were found, including one child. Medical assistance was provided to 31 injured people, including four children and a pregnant woman, eight persons were rescued from the rubble, including three children.

The seriously injured have been hospitalized. Rescue operations are ongoing. Investigative and operational teams are working on the site.

As reported, on the night of July 1, the enemy attacked the Black Sea coast of the Odesa region several times with missiles using Su-35 aircraft.
