The UK followed the EU introduced a ban on the import of gold from Russia. Also from August will be banned from importing Russian coal, and from December – oil.
“An amendment is being adopted that prohibits the import of oil and oil products, coal and gold. It is also prohibited to buy and supply these goods directly or indirectly, “the statement said.
The ban on gold imports came into force on July 21. The ban on coal imports will take effect on August 10, 2022, and on oil imports on December 31, 2022.
The new sanctions also apply to the provision of technical support and financial services related to these goods.
