The British army takes for a four-month training of recruits of the AFU.
This was announced by the ambassador to London Vadim Pristayko, reports “Suspilne”.
Summary portrait of the AFU recruits – zero military experience, 25-45 years old, volunteers. The 10,000 soldiers will be trained at four centers in basic military skills according to British and NATO army standards.
“Who are these people? The age range is about 25 to 45, guys and girls, older or younger… And, the interesting thing is that they are all volunteers,” the diplomat said.
“They dig trenches, are trained to use weapons, drive combat vehicles, and are fully equipped. By the way, everything they are there with has been handed over by Ukraine,” Pristayko noted.
Prystayko noted that other allies could support such an example of cooperation with Ukraine.
