For three years, Alexei Krivoruchko’s wife lived in the United States, and in August 2012, she gave birth to a daughter there.
“It is known that Krivoruchko flew to America, namely to Miami, where the birth probably took place. This indicates that the child was born in the United States and was therefore eligible for citizenship,” the investigators noted.
In September 2016, Krivoruchko’s second daughter was born. His wife was in Miami at the time of delivery. In October, the woman flew out of the United States. In this way, Krivoruchko’s second daughter became eligible for American citizenship.
Deputy Shoigu was also found several objects of elite real estate for half a billion rubles. In 2019, he bought a 1,500 m2 mansion on Rublevka worth 500 million rubles ($8 million).
Krivoruchko flew to the United States 26 times in the 6 years before his appointment as Shoigu’s deputy.
