German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock arrived in Kyiv with an unannounced visit on Saturday, September 10. This is her second visit since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
This is reported by DW.
Berbok plans to meet with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, but her full schedule is not announced for security reasons. According to the minister, the purpose of her visit is to counter the idea of “war fatigue” that exists in the FRG.
“It is clear to me that Putin is counting on the fact that we are tired of showing compassion to Ukraine. He believes he can divide our societies with lies and blackmail them with gas supplies, he can drain the energy out of us to secure himself from this brutal attack on all our values,” Berbock said.
