Ukrainians. The individuals creating world history thus define the future now. A free people. People inspire the entire world with their courage and determination, fighting against the most terrible full-scale aggression in Europe since the end of WWII.

The history of their struggle for freedom has always been inspiring. Ukrainians have fought for their freedom for centuries, they gained it in 1991 and will never give it back to any oppressor. They stand for freedom, democracy, and justice, defending the values of the free world against modern tyranny, neo-colonialism, and terrorist state attacks.

In 2014 Russia started a hybrid war to seize Ukrainian territory, invaders took Crimea and certain parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Ukraine survived the attack, built a strong defense, and succeeded in Armed Forces modernization. Ukrainian patriots continue to protect their country, their houses, and their families, actively defending them in every possible way. That was the start of the Ukrainian Independence War.

On February 24, 2022, Russia assaulted Ukrainians with an all-out war, in multiple directions. Russia deliberately bombed, completely or partially destroyed mostly civilian infrastructure, including hundreds of schools, hospitals, and residential areas, along with military bases, installations, and national airports.

Within the last 6 months, Russia used more than 3,500 cruise missiles to attack Ukrainians, to kill, destroy and break people’s will to defend themselves.

Russia failed. Today Ukrainians are even more determined to fight back and win the war against Russian aggression. Ukraine is winning, grateful for support from all major free nations and democracies in Europe and Northern America.

What’s next? In the future, the entire free world would rely upon Ukraine. The Ukrainian state is accomplishing an increasing number of achievements in close cooperation with its allies. Since no one else has this kind of military & humanitarian expertise, it might be highly valuable to the defense of many nations in the future.

At the recent Yalta European Strategy summit (Kyiv, September 10th, 2022), Latvian President Egils Levits said the following: “After winning the war with Russia, Ukraine will rank among the world’s most powerful countries and play a significant role in the European Union. However, Europe must also contribute to this victory”.

With allies’ support, Ukrainian forces withstood the invasion from the very beginning. Currently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ZSU) keep on winning Ukrainian territories back from Russian occupation.

The fact that more than 3000 square kilometers have been returned to Ukraine’s control since the beginning of September serves as solid proof of the country’s high capabilities in modern war. Russian aggressors are now experiencing defeat after defeat.

President of Ukraine Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said recently of Russian invaders – “they have no place in Ukraine and never will”. The Ukrainian army will push the invaders back to the Russian border.

“Unmanned aerial vehicle command & control nodes, strongholds, weapons, and logistics depots, and military positions of the enemy in the regions of concentration were struck throughout the day utilizing the missiles and artillery corps of Ukrainian Armed Forces. Bridges, enemy cargo boats with military equipment on them and pontoon crossings were also successfully struck”- according to the General Staff of ZSU. According to a comment from the Commander-in-Chief of ZSU, Gen. Valerii Zaluzhnyi – “villages of Bairak, Nova Husarivka, Shchurivka, Vilkhuvatka, towns, and cities of Balakliya, Izyum, and Kupyansk were liberated by the Armed Forces units working closely together. They began moving forward in the direction of Kharkiv not just in the south and east but also in the north.”

The Russian invaders now are fleeing rapidly, demoralized by the Ukrainian counteroffensive. “The Ukrainian military’s counteroffensive is moving faster and taking terrain even faster than expected,” said Mick Mulroy, a former Pentagon official, and C.I.A. officer. “Now is the time for the Ukrainian army to exploit every opportunity they have to degrade and destroy the Russian capacity to fight.” (https://www.nytimes.com/2022/09/10/us/politics/ukraine-military-intelligence.html) The Ukrainians impress the world with their endurance and successes as they push invaders back closer to Russia’s borders. Step by step Ukrainian armed forces are progressively taking back ground. Ukrainians win every day. And that brings hope we’ll see the end of war sooner than we thought before, and with a better future for all free nations. Being a part of these historic moments is an honor.
