After the massive Russian missile attacks on Ukraine, the Czech Foreign Ministry believes that the West should lift the remaining restrictions on arms supplies.
This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Jaroslav Kurfurst at a meeting with Ukrainian journalists, the correspondent of “European Truth” reports.
“Russia uses terrorist methods. There should be the abolition of any restrictions that exist on the supply of weapons to Ukraine. It is time for even greater support for Ukraine,” he said.
Deputy Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic Tomáš Kopeční, in his turn, said that these restrictions, which some countries imposed on themselves, were unnecessary from the very beginning.
According to him, from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion it has become a daily quest to find diplomatic ways to respond to Russia’s terrorist attacks.
“Such terrorist attacks cannot be punished sufficiently because the main criminals are sitting in the Kremlin and enjoying their lives. Therefore, we are among those who promote the idea of establishing a tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression to punish those who are responsible, not only those who commit crimes with their own hands,” the Elector said.
To recap, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stressed that Ukraine will not break because of the intimidation of civilians, and such actions of the Russian Federation are an argument for all those who still consider it possible to conduct peace talks with Putin.
Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs urged to provide more weapons to Ukraine.
