The rescue operation in Dnipro, Ukraine has been going on for more than 65 hours. As of the morning of January 17, rescuers say 90% of the rubble has been removed. The number of confirmed dead residents of the apartment block is 44 people (including 4 children), 79 people were injured (among them 16 children), and 39 people were rescued (including 6 children). More than 20 people are considered missing. They are being searched for, but the chances of rescue are diminishing.

The international community, as well as European and American politicians, diplomats, and public figures, condemned Saturday’s missile attack by Russia.
