The President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel made a public call for the international community not to give up efforts to defeat Russia in Ukraine, adding that certain historical experiences should become the motivation to this end.
This was stated by Radio Prague International.
At the commemoration of the victims of Nazi persecution, which took place at the Terezin National Cemetery, the head of the Czech Republic called for continued efforts to defeat Russia in Ukraine. According to the Czech leader, the motivation should be historical experience.
Pavel stated that the victory over Russia in Ukraine would be “a refusal to change the foundations of the international order.” He urged not to repeat the mistakes of the past and emphasized that not only the Czechs struggle with the difficulties of everyday life caused by the consequences of the war.
